CY6Check Your Six

Six-point check

Six questions. Two minutes. No email address.

These are the questions we ask on a first call, in the order we ask them. There are two sets — one for a firm, one for a household — because the underlying concerns are the same but nobody at home has an offboarding procedure.

Neither set will audit anything — six questions cannot. What they will do is tell you honestly whether the fundamentals are covered, explain why each one matters as you answer it, and end with something you can go and do this week without hiring anybody.

Six questions catch the obvious gaps. A proper assessment looks at your actual environment — accounts, devices, backups, boundaries and evidence — and comes back with a prioritised list.
