Privacy policy

What this covers

This policy explains what happens to information you give us through this website, and what the website collects on its own. It does not cover the handling of client data under a managed services agreement, which is governed by that agreement and any associated business associate agreement.

What we collect

Information you send us. If you complete the contact form we receive your name, email address, and any phone number, company name, headcount and message you choose to provide. We ask for this because we need it to reply.

Technical information. Our hosting and network provider records standard request information, including IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and reliability purposes. Our own application logs do not store your IP address in readable form; where we need to identify repeat submissions we use a one-way hash instead.

What we do not collect. This site carries no advertising trackers, no session recording, no heatmaps, no social media pixels and no third-party analytics. Web fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not tell any other company that you visited.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own. If you open the booking calendar, that calendar is provided by HighLevel and may set cookies under its own policy.

Global Privacy Control

We honour the Global Privacy Control signal. GPC tells a website not to sell or share your personal information. We do not sell it, we do not share it for advertising, and we run no advertising trackers — so a visitor sending the signal and a visitor not sending it are treated identically here.

Our declaration is published at /.well-known/gpc.json, which is where the specification says to look rather than somewhere you have to take our word for it.

Do Not Track

Separately from GPC, most browsers can send a “Do Not Track” header. No agreed standard was ever settled for what a site should do when it receives one, and we do not act on it. That is not a dodge — it is why Global Privacy Control was created, and GPC is the signal we do act on. California law requires us to tell you which of the two we honour, so: that one.

How we use it

• To answer your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare a proposal.
• To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
• To protect the website from abuse and to fix faults.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list from a contact-form submission without asking you separately.

Who else touches it

Enquiries are stored in HighLevel, our CRM, and correspondence is handled through Google Workspace. Both are contracted service providers acting on our instructions. The site is served through Cloudflare. Each of these providers has its own security and privacy commitments.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become client relationships are retained for up to twenty-four months, then deleted. Records relating to clients are retained as required by our agreement with them and by applicable law.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within thirty days. You can also write to us at the address at the bottom of this page. We will not treat you differently for asking.

If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah or Virginia, those rights are statutory rather than a courtesy, and you also have the right to know whether we are processing your information at all and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, so there is nothing here to opt out of.

Someone can ask on your behalf. If you use an authorised agent, we will need written proof that you authorised them before we act.

We may need to check it is you. Not as an obstacle — handing somebody else your information because they asked confidently is the failure mode this prevents. We will only use what you send us to verify the request, and then we delete it.

If we say no, you can appeal. Reply to our refusal, or write to [email protected], and it will be looked at again by someone who did not make the first decision, in writing, with reasons. If you are still unhappy you can complain to your state attorney general, and we would rather tell you that than have you find out later.

California “Shine the Light”

California residents may ask once a year which personal information we disclosed to third parties for their own direct marketing. The answer is none, and it has always been none, but you are entitled to ask and we will confirm it in writing.

Where the information goes

Everything we collect through this site is processed in the United States. Our service providers are contracted to act only on our instructions and not for their own purposes.

Children

This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly market to them. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.

Security

We describe the technical controls on this website in detail on the trust page, including their limits. No website can be guaranteed secure, and we do not make that claim.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects information we already hold, contact affected people directly.
