Evidence, not just intentions

Regulated professions are increasingly asked to prove their controls, not describe them. We map what you run to the framework you answer to, close the gaps, and keep the evidence current so questionnaires stop being a fire drill.

What this fixes

  • A client, insurer or regulator sent a security questionnaire
  • Your written information security plan does not exist yet
  • You know the rules apply, but not which parts touch your setup
  • Policies were written once and never matched reality

What is included

  • Gap assessment against HIPAA, the FTC Safeguards Rule, IRS Pub. 4557, PCI DSS or NIST CSF
  • A written information security plan you can hand over
  • Technical controls implemented to match the policy, not the other way round
  • Access reviews, log retention and change records kept as evidence
  • Annual risk assessment and remediation tracking
  • Support answering client and insurer security questionnaires
After six months

When someone asks how you protect their data, you send a document instead of scheduling a meeting to work out the answer.

Compared honestly

The difference between a policy and evidence

A written policy is straightforward to buy. What examiners, insurers and enterprise clients actually ask for is evidence that the policy describes what happens.

A typical provider

A policy document delivered at onboarding and filed. The FTC's standard is a programme suited to your actual size, activities and data — a document that does not describe your environment does not meet it whoever wrote it.

CY6

For a small environment, written from what is actually configured. For a larger one, a template fitted to it rather than filed as-is. Either way it is maintained as things change, alongside the access reviews and logs that back it up.

Why it matters — A policy that does not match your environment is worse than none: it documents a gap in your own words.

We do not name providers, and we do not claim every provider works this way. These are the patterns we meet most often when we take over an environment.
